The questions couples ask us most.

  • Do we really need a film if we've already got a photographer?

We love photographers. They're usually standing right next to us, so we have to say that. Photos capture how your day looked. Film captures how it felt: your vows, the speeches, the laugh you didn't know you had. The two work beautifully together, like fish and chips. Nobody orders just the fish.

  • Is it too late to book?

Don't assume it is. If we're free on your date, let's talk. Drop us a message and we'll check.

  • What happens after we enquire?

We book a call and give each other a proper vibe check. We don't take every date we're free for. We want to be sure we're genuinely right for you, and you for us, because we're here to tell stories, not fill a calendar.

If it clicks, everything else lives in one simple portal, and from there we're basically best friends.

  • Will you get in the way on the day?

No. We're very self-aware, and by your wedding day we're not strangers. We'll have got to know each other, so we'll all be comfortable talking through the day together.

Your day always comes first, and we know how to make a beautiful film without getting in its way. Trust us with the how; you just enjoy it.

  • When will we get our film?

Usually within 6–8 weeks. In the busiest stretch of peak season it can take longer, up to 24 weeks.

You'll have your own Edit Room, where you can follow your film through every stage, from backing up your footage to the colour and sound mix, with sneak peeks along the way, right up to the premiere.

  • How much does it cost?

Our prices follow our calendar. The first five couples to book each year get our starting price, and after every five bookings it goes up by another 10% of our starting price. Your price is locked in the moment you pay your deposit, so the early birds really do get the worm.

We keep it simple with two packages: the essentials, or everything.

  • Where are you based?

We're based in Devon, so most of our films are made across the South West. But we'll go anywhere, and we mean anywhere.

  • We're awkward on camera. Is that a problem?

Almost nobody we film is used to cameras, and that's exactly who we love filming. Making you comfortable is half our job, and we're very good at it.

  • What's an archive film?

It's a short cinematic film of the two of you, shot before the wedding. There are no suits and no schedule, just you being you somewhere that means something. It becomes part of your wedding film, so your story doesn't start at the aisle; it starts with you.

It's also the perfect warm-up: by the big day, we're old friends and the cameras are old news.

Anything else? Just ask. We're quick to reply.
